This track examines the concepts and tools needed to pursue commercial ventures. The course takes students through the process of creating a detailed plan for a proposed commercial venture. This course is taught by Charles Merritt.
"The commercial track of the entrepreneurship minor helps students to better understand how to identify and take advantage of opportunities in the rapidly evolving business world. Students become proficient in identifying opportunities, building solid business models, and pitching those models and business plans to investors. The commercial track prepares one to pursue a rewarding career in seeking out opportunity."
